The renowned esport organization, Spacestation Gaming, commissioned me to design and build a Blockout for a Husky Raid-style multiplayer level for a Halo Forge Contest focused on environment art.
I took the design on a different path from the regular Husky Raid layout (which is simply a single lane trench between two team bases) and experimented with dual lanes that included a player launcher gimmick to quickly reach the center of the map as a flank strategy or simply for fun aerial plays.
The file was setup in a way that contest participants only needed to focus on the art itself. Level design and gameplay elements were already polished and locked so, once the participants finished their part, they could get a ready-to-play multiplayer level.
