$20k ForgeHub Stockpile Contest - 3rd place & Community Vote winner

Inspired by Vic DeLeon and Paul Russel's "Forerunner Lost City" concept from Halo 3, BYGONE is a 4v4 Forge map that seeks for reminiscence while adding a modern look and gameplay. The map is located in a Forerunner condo where the Librarian's lifeworkers were researching for a way to accelerate entropy.

The multiplayer level was designed for a specific Halo Infinite competitive game mode where players need to retrieve a handful of objects that are spread on the map and bring them to a specific location to score while the enemy team does the same or attempts to steal yours. The nature of the mode asked for an open mid divided by a chasm, so players would need to directly engage mid through the shortest routes that offer the light-bridges or pushing the outer areas to flank the intense sight lines, creating an organic map rotation. The map features dual dynamic light bridges that easily connect the map through the huge chasm, but they are unstable and with the right timing and a well-located bullet, they can be disabled temporarily.
